What we do

All aspects of electrical work. No job is too big or too small.

High quality services for domestic customers, private landlords and the commercial sector, with high quality workmanship and a friendly service.

  1. 01

    Domestic and commercial rewiring

Faulty electrics can be a serious fire hazard. If you own, or are moving into, a home more than 25 years old, it’s important to check the wiring is safe and up to building regulations Part P. We’ll carry out a full survey of your installation and, if a rewire is needed, give you a free quotation.

  2. 02

    Fuse boards and consumer units

A fuse box more than 25 years old may not have an RCD (Residual Current Device), which protects you from a fatal shock if you touch something live, such as a bare wire, and gives some protection against electrical fires. Fuses in a board over 10 years old may have deteriorated. Not sure about yours? We’ll inspect it, and quote free for any replacement.

  3. 03

    Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)

An EICR is an official document awarded after an assessment by a qualified electrician, also known as a periodic inspection. On rented properties an EICR should be carried out every 5 years.

  4. 04

    Electric vehicle chargers

Demand for home chargers keeps growing. We are OZEV (Office for Zero Emission Vehicles) approved and install all EV charger models.

  5. 05

    Electric showers

A new or replacement electric shower over your bath or in a separate cubicle. Because a shower brings electricity and water together, it needs a Part P certified installer. We fit it safely and can advise on which shower to choose.

  6. 06

    Cooker installation and replacement

Whether it’s your first cooker or a replacement, we’ll make sure it’s correctly and safely installed. Ask for a free quotation.

  7. 07

    Electrical underfloor heating

Underfloor heating warms a room quickly and is cheaper to run than gas central heating. It’s invisible, too, so no bulky radiators taking up wall space.

  8. 08

Additional sockets, internal and external lighting

Would some of your rooms benefit from more sockets? Maybe you need extra, or better, internal lighting, or you’d like to light up your outdoor space. For this or any other general electrical work, get in touch to talk it through.

  9. 09

    Extractor fans and hoods

Bathroom extractor fans and kitchen hoods installed or replaced.

We also cover

  • Fault finding
  • Fitted appliance repair
  • Garden lighting
  • Security lighting

Electric vehicle chargers

OZEV approved. Every make of home charger.

Electric vehicles are becoming very popular and the demand for home chargers is growing. We are approved by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles and install all EV charger models.

For landlords

EICR every 5 years on rented property

An Electrical Installation Condition Report is the official record that your installation is safe. An EICR will:

  • Tell you if the electrical circuits are in good condition and safe to use
  • Determine whether or not there is a risk of electric shock
  • Flag any defective electrical work that has been installed
  • Offer recommendations for the earthing within the building
  • Include an inspection of the condition of the consumer unit
Arrange an EICR

Excellent service from NTRT Electrical Services. Nikolaos was professional, reliable and took the time to explain everything clearly before starting the work. The quality of workmanship was outstanding, and everything was completed to a very high standard, leaving the property clean and tidy afterwards. Communication was great throughout, the price was fair, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend NTRT Electrical Services to anyone looking for a trustworthy electrician. I'll definitely be using them again for any future electrical work.

Thomas Walker · Google review, September 2026

Honestly can’t say enough about Nikos and Theo. Had a botched installation of a hive meter from British Gas who refused to take responsibility and also had another electrician who couldn’t fix the issue. Theo wouldn’t be beaten by it and has managed to fix it. Rapid response to calls, rapid call out and a pleasure to deal with at all times. Can’t recommend them enough

Mike Reen · Google review, July 2026

NTRT Electrical undertook a full rewire installation at my property, during a full scale renovation project. I found them helpful, thoughtful and hardworking. They were happy to fit around my programme and were reliable throughout. I would happily recommend them.

  • Fitting new consumer unit and extra work

“Nicolaos fitted a new consumer unit for me and tested all electrical circuits bringing the house up to modern building regulations and informed building control. Mrs Lisa, East Grinstead

  • Complete house rewire

“I cannot speak highly enough of Nikos and the work completed on my home. It was a very difficult job due to the structure of our walls (flint encased in lime mortar). It was difficult to chase the walls but they succeeded and whilst taking longer than originally planned as a result there were no increases in costs. Nikos kept us informed throughout snd was at pains to ensure we were happy with every element of the work and left the house each day tidy and usable again. Nikos was flexible to ensure we could still live in our home throughout most of the work. Highly recommended!”

    Mr Ted, Westerham

  • Complete house rewire

“Was a pleasure dealing with Niko on a build where every other trade let me down. Niko was very accommodating of the delays and changes to the schedule. Very polite and tidy, kept me updated as things progressed and worked with me around issues that popped up talking me through what I needed rather than trying to charge me for something I didnt need. One issue being the earth spike being corroded, and Niko recommended I get the network in to connect me to the PME at no cost. And I'm happy with the finish.”

    Mr. Sean A, Pease Pottage

  • Replacing 10 spotlights in the house

“Very professional on time. Was tidy explain what he is doing kind and polite.”
